Booking, Refund and Cancellation Policy

• • Customers can cancel the booking via the cancellation button available on their booking confirmation email. Cancellation can be done in working hours 6 hours prior to the inspection. Alternatively, email us at admin@safebuy.com.au or call 0386767692 to cancel a booking.
  • Due to a change of mind or agreement between buyer and seller or rescheduling date, time and location, a minimum $150 call-out will be applied. Further detail given are as under.
  • Below booking fee is not refundable within 4 hours of an inspection if the customer cancel, reschedule or any other reason.
  • Cancellations between 8 AM and 6 PM are guaranteed a full refund. If a cancellation is submitted after 6 PM, a fee of $150 will be deducted from the total refund amount. We encourage you to plan accordingly and be aware of these timeframes to ensure you receive the maximum refund possible. Incase if you required reschedule that has to be requested between 8am to 6pm and at least 6 hours prior of booking time.
    • Call out fee $150 up to 40 km
    • Call out fee $190 from 40-70 km
    • Booking fee $230 from 70-90 km
• Customer will not be eligible for a refund in case of vehicle’s owner doesn’t allow the inspector to carry out any of the tests in the inspection.
• Offensive and abusive behaviour of the vehicle’s owner will not be tolerated, and in this case, inspection cannot be continued, and the customer will not be eligible for any refund.
• During an inspection, if any existing or previous faults are exposed, then Safebuy or the inspector will not be responsible for fixing the vehicle’s faults.
• Safebuy inspection from standard 1 hour up to 2 hours premium inspection times may vary depending on vehicle model and condition. And in this case, the customer will not be eligible for any refund.

• Inspector will not wait more than 10-15mins at the vehicle’s location to conduct an inspection. Inspection service charges will not be refundable in case of a longer wait than 20 mins.
• Car History and PPSR charges are not refundable as SafeBuy completes those checks before the inspection.
• Please allow 5-10 working days for a refund to appear in your account.
• SafeBuy vehicle inspection services include that you will be provided with an inspection report, and you agree to pay the charges as mentioned on the website.
• SafeBuy has a right to revise inspection charges at any time. Please visit our website, www.safebuy.com.au, for any recent charges.
• The seller can obtain a copy of the inspection report at an additional cost.
  Note: Personal data of customer will be removed from a copy of the report.

• For Comprehensive and Premium inspection services.
• Inspector fails to identify fault which was visually apparent at the time of inspection.
• Inspector fails to provide verbal or photo evident what he has inspected.
